Penina Resort Golf Course, is a pleasant 9 holes Par 35 with 2987 metres, taking advantage of the principles laid down by Sir Henry Cotton with water hazards playing their tricks best; the Penina Golf Resort course, is an opportunity to fine-tune one's short game, while providing gentle training ground for beginners.

Penina Resort, was enjoyable as always, but condition generally is the worst we’ve seen over the past 10 years, or so! Nice to be advised up front about the wild bore damage to 3 greens. It did cross our mind that given the general condition, and the 4 green’s animal damage, that the recent price increases are a little difficult to accept! But we like the 9 hole Resort Course and the friendly and helpful staff!

The Resort course was in the worst condition I have seen it in over the last 26 years. Looks very unloved which is such a shame for a potentially excellent 9 hole course

The course was in pretty good condition and the greens ran nicely. Quite expensive for a 9 hole course which you go round twice ( to make 18 holes ) but there was no intrusive marshalling from Resort staff so that was appreciated.

We played the 9-hole course and it was not in good condition. Looked like they didn’t care about it. We asked if we could upgrade to the 18 hole course but the employee didn’t reach their superior.

Bien , pero cometimos un error por desconocimiento. Nuestra intención era jugar en el campo principal de Penina y no en el camp de 9 hoyo Academy. -**- Good, but we made a mistake out of ignorance. Our intention was to play on the main Penina course and not on the 9-hole Academy course.

The course was in very poor condition, i amazed they can get away with charging the green fees there charging for this course. One rake to be share between 3 bunkers unacceptable.

Penina Resort is a 9 hole course you play twice for your 18 holes we found it very boring not in great condition and we’re very disappointed not to be playing the championship course with so many other good courses in this area we would not play here again.

Had no buggies to hire so had to hire trolleys and walk the 18 holes, also the course wasn’t looking to good, a lot of leaves and branches and dead grass, apart from the greens which were ok

I thought Pennina resort course was a big disappointment not very well maintained and badly run down.the only sort of good comment is the greens were not too bad
