Silves Golf Course offers an exhilarating challenge from start to finish, now elevated by a stunning new clubhouse with a terrace that provides a perfect view of the 18th green. The course may begin with two short par 4s, but don't be fooled—Silves demands precision and bold, attacking play. With the recent layout change, what was once the 1st hole is now the thrilling 18th, providing an unforgettable finish to your round.
The course’s natural beauty and elegant design offer a relentless test of accuracy, making it truly second to none. As you navigate each hole, you’ll be treated to spectacular mountain and valley views, framed by lush palm trees and ancient olive groves. You might even find yourself picking fresh oranges or figs along the way—an experience as unique as the course itself. The revamped 18th hole now delivers a final test where your opening shot must skillfully navigate between two water hazards, culminating in a dramatic conclusion that you can enjoy from the clubhouse terrace.

Nice countryside course. Good for high and low handicappers. Reasonable facilities.

This was the first time I had played Silves for several years. The last time, the new clubhouse was just being built. I must say I was surprised and disappointed by how tiny the changing rooms were. I don't suppose they'll do anything about it now they've finished the building, but they should have been much bigger.
I was also surprised and disappointed by the lack of practice facilities. There is no driving range, just a net, and a very small practice putting green.
The course was great though. We thoroughly enjoyed it although there are some steep climbs and a few long walks between greens and tees. I wish I had taken a buggy. The steep climb up the hill to 18th is a killer at the end of a round. I would definitely play Silves again.

Silves course was not. In as good condition as previous times we played there. Fairways and greens were somewhat ‘overused’.

We also played here in May this year. The course is good. In front of us they played slow. I think a lot of courses need a Marshall to advoid slow playing! Both times the reception and the bar were absoluut not friendly.

Silves Golf Course may not be a championship course, but it offers a fantastic experience for the average golfer. With a variety of engaging holes set in a beautiful natural environment, it provides an enjoyable challenge. The unpretentious clubhouse, coupled with friendly service, ensures a delightful day out for all.

Transferred to Silves because Pinta was closed. Bit disappointed as Pinta is better. Overall satisfactory.

Decent challenge of golf, especially on a windy day. Greens bobbly, not great condition, even some ant nests on some. Shame not worked whilst shut. Quiet and quick round

The course was generally in a poorer condition than our previous visits. Lack of attentions to greens condition and general attention to detail .
We still enjoyed our round in spite of this but the conditions could be partly due to lack of irrigation.
