Great golf course in excellent condition. Our party played it last year and wanted to come back for another go. A bit of refurbishment going on, including the clubhouse, but that didn't cause much of an issue. The staff were great apart from the ''jobs worth'' course marshall. Our shuttle buses, arranged by our Dom Pedro hotel, were very late which meant we arrived virtually on our tee time. We had to book shuttles 1hr 30 mins before tee time and were told they would be 35/40 mins. Turned up 1hr 10 mins later. We therefore had to rush around and teed off slightly late. We then had the marshall tell us we were behind time. Seemed ignorant to the issue when told and part spoiled the experience. Very disappointing. Lower rating due to this.

Course good. Service excellent. It would have been nice to know that clubhouse is being redeveloped. We had a major issue with the shuttle to the hotel as had to wait for nearly 1 hour.

It was under renovation when we went but the staff have done their best with temporary facilities. Staff very helpful & friendly. Course needed some work on the greens as they weren’t in good condition.

Course was in reasonable condition albeit a lot of work being done and the greens were somewhat bobbly. I was unaware that the facilities would be unavailable and coupled with the work on the course I find it hard to believe that the cost wasn’t discounted to take this into account.

hi the staff were amazing , but we really should have been told about the work happening on the course beforehand , chain saws and construction work is really not what we expected from the the most expensive course of our trip. we would have much preferred to play another course if we were made aware of this. The Millennium and Pinnal were fantastic but the old course was a let down

Compared to previous years just a bit disappointed at the condition of the greens. They had recently been worked on but not great condition. Not made aware (made our booking 10 months ago)
The work on clubhouse and infrastructure of paths etc didnt impact on golf much and is understood no doubt will enhance things in future.
